Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7:30 am–4:30 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Affordable Dentures & Implants at (850) 702-0874; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. I was here a couple of months ago and talked myself out of writing a review, but I should’ve posted this the second I walked out the door. From the front desk all the way back to the dentist, this office is cold, rude, and unprofessional. All they care about is money, they wouldn't even see me until I paid upfront. As a young patient who has never really had much dental work done, this whole experience was terrifying. At my initial X-ray appointment, they barely looked at my teeth and offered no real consultation. The dentist casually suggested I get a crown instead. When I said I wanted the extraction, she just brushed it off. On the day of the surgery, I sat in the chair not knowing my procedure was even supposed to be difficult, because no one bothered to talk to me. Then, while I was literally sitting right there waiting, the dentist stood in the doorway with the nurse talking about how hard my surgery was going to be. The nurse even told her within earshot, "If you don't wanna do it today, you don't have to. You can do it another day," and the dentist replied that she was just going to do it anyway. How is a patient supposed to feel sitting in a chair, hearing their provid

I only give a one star to the lady at the front desk. She was the nicest one in the whole facility. I went in to get a set of dentures already had two or three pairs but couple of more little messed up so I wanted to get another pair so the dentist came in. I did the impressions and I got another pair. I got them home when I went and picked them up and they felt like horse teeth. They were so big they made a sore on my upper gum so I called to get another appointment to reschedule and do another pair when I go back the doctor came in and she stated that well, I have several pairs anyway she didn’t know why I want another pair which ain’t none of her business. I want 10 pairs I’ll have them in any case. She told me that she couldn’t redo them and that she was just gonna refund my money I said OK thank you and she walked out. I go to the front desk. I tell them I want a refund and after that the lady at the front desk at the doctor took you off the chart you’re no longer no longer a patient to come back here. I think she was very rude. The doctor I didn’t like her attitude and she don’t know how to do dentures. I really truly thought that those dentures belong to another patient ther

Booked an appointment 3 weeks in advance drove 45 minutes to appointment to find a note on the door closed from 1st to 6th for 4th of July. NO CALL to let us know No call to reschedule. I called in and the lady was very rude. Said oh well so you want to reschedule, I asked why no one let us know she said that's the home office job not ours. WHAT??? THEN asked well what do you want me to do? No apologies just gruff. B.S both of us took the day off work.

Pensacola Fl. Office So far, it has been a great experience. Dr. Dong helped me with a partial 19 years ago, so I returned to have her help me with a full set of dentures. She understands the discomfort of preparing for implants and treated me with care during the process. I have my temporary set now, and other than some expected soreness, I am doing fine. I would like to thank the entire staff—especially the receptionist and Dental Assistant, Mika—for their friendliness and understanding throughout the process. I will provide an update once I receive my permanent set.

"I do not recommend coming here; the dentist is very irresponsible. They accept patient after patient, which results in them being unable to finish the work needed on my teeth. I waited seven months for my implant, but when I returned, it seemed like they weren't even ready to fix my implant dentures. This should be reported to the dental association to put a stop to this kind of service. They give you the runaround and make it very difficult for patients by making them come back over and over again."
